I was delighted to officially open the new Little Leaps pre-school nursery in my constituency.
Its based at the Leap Centre in Clyde Street, Ashton-under-Lyne and supports local children, aged from 2-4, to get ready for 'big school'.
The facilities are fantastic and really homely, with a lovely garden for tots to explore.
The centre is all thanks to the great work of the St Peters Partnership which aims to give local children a place where they can develop and flourish in a safe and warm environment.
The St Peters Partnership want to make the Leap Centre a strong community hub where people can go for support, school holiday activities, a pop-up creche, meeting and training rooms and horticultural activities.
St Peters Partnerships are doing fantastic work locally in tackling deprivation and social exclusion and raising aspirations.
All power to their elbow - the centre is going to be a great local resource!
