Summer's Santa Silhouette Scoops Christmas Card Contest

LOCAL MP Angela Rayner has chosen her 2016 Christmas card winner from more than 500 entries submitted by local school children.

It will now go on the front of Angela’s annual Christmas card which the MP sends to Parliamentary and Labour Party colleagues, relatives, friends and constituents.

Angela popped into Holden Clough to present Summer with a framed copy of her winning design, a special certificate and £10 gift voucher.

Angela said: “We had a brilliant response to the competition and the entries were of a really high standard.

“But Summer’s design stood out to me because it was so eye-catching and unusual.”

Angela presented both with their framed design, certificate and a selection box.
