Places are now available for school visits to Parliament from September until the end of the year.

Visits are free for all schools and are open to students aged from 5 to 18.

Schools can also apply for a Transport Subsidy to help with the travel costs of visiting.

To book their place, schools need to call the Education Service directly on 020 7219 4496. Schools can find out more information on these Visit pages.

Angela Rayner MP Said: "It's great that Parliament is opening its doors to the voters of tomorrow and helping our young people to have a better understanding of what goes on here.

"I want to see as many local schools as possible down here in Westminster - we will make it a day to remember for them."

Visits consist of a tour of Parliament and a workshop in the new Parliamentary Education Centre, followed by a session with Angela.

Schools can find out more by contacting the Education Service on 020 7219 4496, emailing education@parliament.uk or via the website: www.parliament.uk/education
